The beautiful white washed village of Benahavís is nestled in the foothills of the Serranía de Ronda mountain range.  It is 7km from the beach but at 400m above sea level Inspired Homes Marbella have many properties that have both stunning sea and mountain views.

Steeped in Moorish heritage, the recently refurbished 11th century castle of Montemayor offers sensational views of the coastline and on clear days the Riff mountain range in Morocco.

Benahavís is ideal for people who want tranquillity; the village has retained much of its original charm whilst still having all the facilities that people have come to expect.

It has become popular for its hiking trails many of which traverse one of Benahavís 3 rivers. Cycling and running are also popular as the unspoilt scenery and of course the weather makes exercising easy. There are also tennis and padel courts, a driving range, and canyoning is viable in the summer months.

In recent years Benahavís has become known as the Gastronomic corner of Andalusia due to the chefs training school ”Sabor a Malaga” and the village has now become synonymous with food, boasting many top quality restaurants alongside the traditional “tapas” bars.

San Pedro de Alcántara

San Pedro has seen something of a renaissance in recent years. From an old sugar plantation in the 1950s it has developed into a thriving cosmopolitan town.

The old town still has pedestrianized streets lined with cafes and tapas bars, while all the new developments have been concentrated beachside which has led to numerous quality restaurants and bars servicing these apartments.

The beach has a wide promenade which is joined to Puerto Banús (3km away) making it popular with dog walkers and joggers in the morning.

Inspired Homes Marbella have access to many beachside apartments and at only 800m to the town make this a viable location for those longing for the beach but with all the necessary amenities just a short walk away.

San Pedro still offers buyers a wide range of products from Andalusian style townhouses to ultra modern apartments thus enhancing its reputation as an up and coming area with something for everyone. The boulevard opened 4 years ago with cafes, play areas and an amphitheatre further cementing this notion.

Bordering San Pedro is the pretty beachside community of Guadalmina. The leafy villa lined streets are ideal for buyers looking for tranquillity whilst having the beach and restaurants only a short walk away. The 36 hole golf course makes this a desirable location for the discerning buyer.
